Scott’s approach

Scott works from a psychodynamic perspective, exploring how past experiences, early relationships and patterns we may not immediately recognise can influence how we feel, relate to others and see ourselves in the present.

They recognise that not every young person finds it easy to express themselves just by talking things through. Where helpful, Scott also uses creative and reflective activities to help someone explore what they’re experiencing.

Their approach is calm, collaborative and non-judgemental, giving each young person space to build trust, understand themselves better and explore difficulties at a pace that feels manageable.
