Crisis support

If you or a young person is at immediate risk of harm, or cannot stay safe, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E now.

Teenage Mental Health isn’t an emergency service, so if urgent help is needed now, please use the crisis support options below.

Support

Support for young people

If a young person needs someone to talk to right now, services like Childline, Shout and The Mix may be able to help. They offer confidential support and can help when things feel overwhelming.

Support for parents and carers

If you’re worried about a young person and don’t know what to do next, crisis support services can help you think clearly. You don’t need to manage the situation on your own.

When to contact Teenage Mental Health

If the situation isn’t urgent but you’re concerned about a young person’s emotional or mental health, we can help.

We offer specialist support for young people and families, with a free initial call and free first session.
