Learn how to support a young person in your life.
Our Teenage Mental Health Training courses are designed to give parents, carers, and professionals the skills and confidence they need to spot the signs of mental health difficulties, how to help a young person in crisis, and how to seek additional support.
By developing these skills, we hope that you can develop open communication and a more supportive environment where talking about mental health becomes part of everyday conversation. This will enable the young person to feel better supported, understood, and can ultimately help them on their journey to recovery.
We run a range of introductory courses on some of the most common mental health conditions that young people experience. These include:
- Introduction to Mental Health
- Disordered eating
- Gender Identity
These are two-hour long, online events held on Zoom, delivered by a mental health professional from our team at Teenage Mental Health.
The dates and times of these courses will be listed on our website soon but if you would like to pre-register your interest please submit an enquiry form through our website, call our reception team or email your interest to firstname.lastname@example.org
